Happy Chinese New Year break

Dear parents,

This week has been a busy week for us. This week we wrapped up all the subjects for this semester.


I hope that you will like the yearbooks I made for your children. If you wish to have their pictures for this semester, please bring in a USB device to school at any time during your convenience. I would be glad to load them up for you.


For math class, we worked on the last few concepts. They are “quiet”, “noisy”, “many”, and “few “.

For phonics class, we finished the last letter Z, and the related words “Z-z-zoo, zebra, zipper, zero and zigzag.


For social studies class this week, we learned more objects that are made of natural material such as cliffs, sand, hot springs and many more.

For Art and Crafts class, we made mobile Oxen. The ox is the zodiac character for this New Year. We decorated the walls with oxen in our classroom.

Lastly, I wish that you and your family have a wonderful 9 day break during the Chinese New Year break. See you again next year.
