Happy Friday

Hi Parents

This week, we finished the letter Qq. The vocabulary words for Qq are: quarter, quilt, queen, question and quiet. We also learned how to write numbers and count items through 31. We also made two crafts this week, a rat craft and a crocodile craft.

Emily, Aston, Ruby and Crystal had the same problems in Math class, counting past 15. I am using the extra time to help them count objects to 31. Emily, Claire, Ruby and Crystal are having problems writing letters correctly, they write the letters upside down. Devon, Albert and Aston are improving so much – using scissors and completing the crafts. Hanna and Rochelle are very fast in the class, they are being my little teachers; assisting their classmates after they are done with their assignments. It’s so great to hear that Big Ethan loves to eat his vegetables. He will be leaving to Los Angeles on Friday night for a month!!! See you soon, have a safe and fun trip!!!! Leo has been late to school this week, so I’ve been using this playtime to make-up his work for his tardiness. He is doing much better now, though he still complains every so often. Serena, Emily Rochelle’s writing skills has improved so much, I am so proud of them!

Have a great weekend!!! Stay out of the rain…

Please remember that we’re going on a field trip on Monday. Don’t forget to bring a healthy and nutritious lunch to school on Monday!

See you Monday, Teacher Leanne

Claire can count objects from 1 to 12 perfectly! She's able to express herself more. She has no problems learning how to do new things or new skills. She is having some problems writing numbers backwards; 2, 3 and 4.

Hanna has no problems counting objects from 1 to 20. She is a quick learner. Her penmanship has improved, she writes nice and neat!

Albert is always so happy! I'm happy to see him come to school so early!!! He's very energetic and happy in the morning! He is having some problems tracing; he doesn't like to do it. I will prepare some tracing activities for him to do at home.

Aston is doing much better! Though he is having problems counting items from 10 on. He's able to count to 20, but when he is counting objects past 10, he recounts to 1 or 7. I am trying to use the extra time I have in class to help him, but I think he needs more help at home! Aston's penmanship has improved greatly!!! He's able to complete his assignments and tasks with little or no help.

Devon is improving. He needs a lot more attention than others. He's not really able to finish his assignments. He's easily distracted in class. He is better at socializing with his peers.

Rochelle is a very smart girl. She completes all of her tasks and assignments before anyone else does; she is more advanced than everyone in class. She has great penmanship. She has no problems counting objects from 1 to 20.

Ethan is doing good. His social skills has improved! He is able to communicate better with his peers. His play skills are good; he plays with a wider variety of friends. He is always surprising me; he knows more than we think he does! He can write almost all the letters of the alphabet; his penmanship is great!

Leo has improved the most within the class. He's doing an amazing job. His penmanship is amazing. He can count and write numbers from 1 to 20, as well as counting objects to 20. He doesn't complain about anything! He's able to express himself better, as well as making new friends at school. Leo does try very hard to impress me.

Crystal is doing good overall. She is generally happy at school. Crystal will be leaving us in March for Canada. We wish you the best of luck!!! She is having some problems counting from 15 on. I use the spare time that we have in and after class to help her. She is doing much better. Crystal is a fast learner!

Ruby is having trouble counting objects from 12 on. Her penmanship is great, she takes a lot of time to complete her assignments neatly. Ruby has come a long way from baby class. She's doing a great job!!!

Serena is doing a great job. She has no problems counting objects and writing numbers from 1 to 20. Her penmanship is amazing. She prints beautifully. She is able to better express herself at school; she is very social and friendly at school.
