August 7th

Happy Father's Day!
It's been a quiet week at Tree House. We started the week reviewing begining and ending phonic sounds, as well as -at/-et phonic sounds. In math class we've been practicing counting in preperation for studying addition and subtraction. And finally, in art class we made something special for all the fathers....
Bonnie has been doing a wonderful job in class. I think she will excell this year and I look forward to seeing her progress!
Aston has been doing great as well. He's been making progress with counting and has also been paying attention much more in class. I think he still needs a little help with his ABC's and phonics though. Starting next week I'd like to give him some extra phonics work...
Claire has been doing great! She's been very well behaved this week and continues to show improvements. She's done especially well in phonics class!
It's great to see Devon back at school! I know Aston and Albert are both excited hes back; playtime is never the same with out him.

And finally...starting next week our new class name will be "The Pandas".
