Dear Parents,

We have finally arrived! The end of this year has come to a close and I just want to extend my warmest congratulations to all of the students in the class. You have all performed admirably and I am proud of each and every one of you for a job well done. You have grown and learned many a great thing this year and your improvements made have shown me that you are all the brightest of young stars. You have the ability to go far and to do whatever your hearts desire. Don't be afraid to take risks, to fail and learn from those mistakes, to succeed and know that you did a job well done! I wish all of you the best in the coming year and make me proud.

Individual Comments:

Adam: Keep up the great work! I am happy that you have come such a long way in a short amount of time!

Ethan: I await your return so we can pick up where we left off. I hope you can put as much effort into next year!

Patrick: You will be greatly missed my friend. I look forward to your return after elementary school.

Rain: Although you had your moments, all in all you were a great student to have in the class and you made some great progress!

Terry: Next year I hope that you can get down to work and make those same great improvements that you made this year.

Emily: She was by far the most consistent student in the class. She has done some wonderful things this year an I hope the best for her next year.

Melissa: I hope you can maintain the same kind of work ethic you showed in my class next year. Keep up the good work.

Joyce: Going from quiet to the most talkative girl in the class. I am so proud of all of her accomplishments and I look forward to seeing what she will do next year.

Theresa: I look forward to having her return to the class next year. She made some good progress this year and it'll be good to continue that work.

Paige: I am truly going to miss having a student like Paige in the class. She was such a great helper to me and the other students in the class.

Erin: I have to say that overall she came the farthest in the shortest amount of time. I have no doubt that she will do very well next year.

Goodbye all! I will miss each and every one of you and I only wish the best in the coming year. Good luck and have a great vacation.

Dear Parents,

We finally made it to Graduation Show time and I have to admit it was very well done! All of the pieces fit together perfectly and all of the kids came together and put on a great show. Well done guys! I look forward to next year and seeing what we can come up with. Much of this week was preparation for the show and the show itself so we will be finishing up as much of our textbooks next week. We did get to some more reading and some pages out of the Phonics and Math books. Our yearbooks will be going out next week as well so be on the lookout for those.

Individual Comments:

Adam: Great job this week young man! I am very proud of all of your achievements over the course of the year!

Patrick: He has made a lot of improvements and progress since the start of the year. I am astounded at what he has accomplished!

Rain: I have to admit that he really is on top of his game when it come down to doing what he needs to do with the lessons at hand and I have high expectations for him in the future.

Terry: He has great potential and I have a feeling the he will be able to achieve all that is sent his way, keep up the successes!

Ethan: I hope he is feeling better soon! As far as his in class performance is concerned; he has made some real progress in his confidence and ability to follow the tasks at hand!

Joyce: What a turn around she made this year. Going from miss I won't say a word to anybody to being the most vocal in the class is rewarding to say the least.

Emily: She has made steady improvements throughout this year and I am proud of her work ethic in reading. She was behind at times but pulled through and is now a wonderful reader.

Erin: She also has done a fine job in the class after coming into it late. She has improved in her speaking and reading the most.

Theresa: I am proud of how well she has adjusted to life in the class, although she is still behind in some aspects of her learning she has knuckled down and done a wonderful job, anyhow!

Melissa: Since coming into the class she has maintained a great work ethic and attitude. I am familiar with how she was doing in the other class and I have to say that none of those behaviors crossed over. Great job.

Paige: I have seen her going from somewhat quiet and reserved to being very vocal and in great spirits. I enjoyed teaching her every moment we were in the classroom. Great work Paige!

I am proud of all of the students this year and as the year comes to a close I know that I will miss each and every one of them next year as they move on to higher levels. I will see all of you bright and early Monday morning. Have a great weekend.

Dear Parents,

Well we are almost to the end of the semester and we are in full swing for the graduation show. All of the kids are practicing very hard and I can see that they are giving it 100% in order to impress all of you. I am eagerly anticipating next Wednesday and I have no doubt that the students are too. We have been finishing up some of the final pages in our Phonics and Math workbooks and we are definitely making some headway and I feel that we should be able to finish them by the vacation break.

I am very impressed with how well all of the students have progressed throughout this year. Each and every one has made some really great improvements in all areas of their English learning. I am especially impressed with how well their reading has developed; from nothing at all to being able to complete a whole story on their own and using the skills that they learned in class. Great job guys, I'm proud of each and every one of you.

Individual Comments:

Ethan: He was a bit flighty and I had to remind him a bunch to focus on the task at hand. Great reading though.

Adam: All around great job and I can see that his reading is developing.

Patrick: I am satisfied with his progress this week as he made some great improvements in most areas of learning.

Rain: His behavior was good this week. His reading skills are also improving nicely.

Terry: We missed you this week buddy, see you next week.

Paige: All around great performance from her this week. She was in an exceptionally good mood as well.

Theresa: She's making real progress and I can see improvements made every single day!

Erin: Her reading is getting quite good and she seems to be catching up to the other students in the class.

Melissa: I hope she is enjoying the new arrival and I look forward to having her back in class on Monday.

Emily: Great work this week. She was very eager to learn and I could see improvements being made.

Joyce: Great job in reading class and she's starting to want to volunteer for everything right away!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll see all of you back in class bright and early Monday morning.

Dear Parents,

We had a busy week this week in class. We are trying to finish our workbooks and at the same time practicing for the graduation show. Show practice has been going well and the students are on the ball with getting done what needs to get done. They have also been doing a great job with getting down to work and finishing up the material. We are starting to do addition in math class and I am doing my best to make sure ALL of the kids are on the same page. We are continuing reading work and I have been mixing up the pages in order for me to see who is getting it and who is not. To my surprise all of them really seem to get it. They all have their own individual paces but I believe they understand the concept.

They will be doing more and more show practice as the time comes to a close so it is my hope that they can pay attention and give it 100%. They have been doing a great job up to this point so just keep up that work ethic and you'll do great! I have sent out Monthly Reports this week so I will be posting individual comments next week so be on the lookout for those. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and stays dry. Get out and do something fun and I'll see you all back in class Monday morning.
