Mr. B's Badgers

We had a great week this week and make huge strides in reading. The students are able to read our story book, "I See Red, Yellow, Blue". They also learned about left and right in math class. In Science we learned about different animals, how they move and other ways they are different. In phonics we reviewed S and T and our new letter for the week was letter B.

Our reading words are: I, see, a blue, yellow, red, rock, Miss, Bear, Duck, Mouse, Cat, tire

Leetrue has done well this week. I am trying to help him with his pronuciation as he has trouble with the S sound.

August is keeping up but may fall behind if he is not careful and doesn't pay attention in class. Reviewing the phonics at home with him would be helpful for him.

Jason tried very hard this week. He continues to struggle with group lessons, but is improoving when I teach him one-on-one.

Ryan is great. He catches on with language very quickly and his outbursts are fewer in number.

I have noticed that Jae is developing a bad habbit of not sitting properly. I will remind her to sit properly at school, but it would be helpful if you see her sitting on her feet or knees at the table, to reming her to sit properly.

Christine has great social skills. She is a real people person. She does well to understand in class, but if you want to do review with her at home, ask her to read our reading words.

Teresa really enjoyed being the class leader this week and did an excellent job with it!
