Dear Parents,

This week we did estimating in Math class, the had to guess how many blocks would equal different lengths of things. They also had to guess how many blocks could be filled in different containers. We did the letter Zz in phonics class and did some writing exercises for practice. In Social Studies class we started a lesson on the importance of recycling and keeping our Earth clean. I hope we can also start an in-class recycling project where the kids can learn how to recycle correctly. We are reading a new story this week in Reading class and all of the students are doing a fine job at not just memorizing the pages but really trying to sound out each of the words and forming good sentences.

Because Monthly Reports went out this week I will be continuing individual comments the following week so please stay posted for those. Thank you all and have a great weekend and remember, parent teacher meetings next week so I'll be seeing you soon.
