Dear Parents,
This week was a fun one for the kids in the Wolf Pack. We had two days of Easter fun! On Monday we went to the library, told Easter stories then read some more stories from popular books. In the afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt and they all sported their bunny ear hats they made earlier. On Tuesday we then colored Easter eggs and I have to say that all of the students in the class are quite the little artists. Great job on your creations this week!
In class we covered some of our Phonics workbook pages. We are starting to cover vowels and I have high hopes that they will succeed with these lessons. In reading we all did individual reading and I worked closely with all of the students on helping them sound through the words on the page. I have to say they are all coming along and I have confidence they will all start to see their efforts paying off. We did a couple of P.E. classes this week and I think they all really like this class and are able to cut loose and get out all of that energy they have cooped up inside.
Individual comments:
Terry: Stop talking, stop talking, stop talking. I need for him to listen when it's time to listen.
Rain: He and his buddy need to understand when I say it's time to get to work I mean it.
Ethan: Great job this week, he's really trying his hardest to improve his reading and I can see those improvements daily.
Adam: He as well is trying his best in reading class and I am happy to report only great things from him.
Patrick: Great job in reading class this week, I think he really gets it and I have full confidence for more of this in the future.
Joyce: Now that her sister is here at school, my prediction was correct... she's talking more and helping out a lot... great job Joyce.
Emily: She was very consistent this week, great job in reading class this week as well. Thank you for the card by the way... it's very cute!
Theresa: It's like we talked about in our meeting... I'm happy she's willing to talk now let's just get it to where she's speaking more fluently.
Erin: She's speaking out and trying to get all of the work done, great job so far. I have confidence you will start to see improvements.
Paige: Very consistent participation this week. Her reading still has a ways to go but i can see that she's trying her best. Keep it up!
I hope everyone has a great weekend... let's hope it stays dry!
