Dear Parents,

This year has come to a close and a new one will begin. I hope everyone has made their resolutions and are driven to complete those goals. We will be talking about the students resolutions today and what it means to make change in your life and to make sure you are doing your best to reach those goals. I hope everyone will also be doing something interesting tonight with those that are closest to you. I will be with my family and reflecting on this most life changing year that I have had and the possibilities that next year will bring. I wish everyone Happy Holidays... Happy New Year and I'll see all of you back in class in 2009!

Enjoy your long weekend!

Dear Parents,

First and foremost Merry Christmas! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday together. I also hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas show last week. All of the students seemed to really have a good time with it and I was pleased with how everyone performed. This week we have been focusing on crafts and arts with the Christmas theme. The last one we did was make some stars and they really turned out great! We are starting to get back on our regular schedule and have done a number of pages out of the Phonics and Math books as well as some Science. I am very pleased with the class this week as they have really performed well in all areas of study, so thanks guys keep it up.

Individual Comments:

Ethan: He was a little naughty this week and I am sure you've had your talk to him as well. Let's try and be a bit better.

Terry: Good job this week. He was very consistent and produced great work. Keep it up Terry.

Hank: I am happy to report positive things from him this week. He did very well on our Christmas crafts.

Adam: He was not so good this week and I am sure you guys talked to him about not doing things like that. Let's try to improve.

Rain: He was pretty good this week. He has been much better lately and he is rarely out of line.

Marcus: Great job all around from hi this week. He was focused and ready to learn.

Patrick: Great job Patrick! He's really starting to understand what it takes to succeed. Keep it up young man.

Emily: Very positive attitude and work ethic this week. She's doing very well in all areas of study.

Paige: Very outgoing and in great spirits this week. I would like to see her try and reach out to Joyce more though.

Joyce: She's starting to interact with her classmates more which is great to see. She's speaking a little bit more too.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and I will see all of you back in the classroom bright and early Monday morning.

Dear Parents,

This week has been all about the Christmas show. Because it's getting down to crunch time we have been focusing on rehearsal and practice in order to completely have the show down. Most of them have done a great job with their practicing but we still have some fine tuning to do before show time. I feel that they will do a wonderful job in any case so I hope you all are looking forward to the presentation.

Next week will be a sigh of relief as there will be no more practice and we can get back on our normal schedule. We have gotten a little behind so it will be nice to get caught up again. We will be focusing on all of the lessons and workbooks so make sure your children come to school on Monday right and ready to learn.

Individual Comments:

Ethan: He's done a better job at show practice and he's focusing a lot more. Thank you for your hard work.

Hank: Perfect job during show practice. He talks loudly and sings loudly as well so keep it up Hank.

Adam: I am a little disappointed with his performance during show practice. I don't think he understands that if you practice poorly you will perform poorly.

Terry: He is practicing the show well and I feel he's ready to perform. Thank you for working hard.

Marcus: Great job during show practice. Thank you for all of your hard work this week.

Patrick: I am happy to report only good things from Patrick this week as he has performed very well.

Rain: I am very disappointed with his lately. I am getting tired of his behavior towards his friends. He needs to correct some of his interactions.

Emily: Great job this week. She's trying hard during show practice and I feel you will enjoy their presentation.

Paige: Perfect practicing from her this week. Thank you Paige.

Joyce: She's doing OK and I feel that she's ready for the show... I just hope you can hear her on Friday.

I hope everyone will enjoy the show this Friday and I'll see all of you bright and early Monday morning.

Dear Parents,

This week has been a busy one for the students in the Wolf Pack. We have been practicing for the Christmas Show regularly and I feel that they are starting to come together and really know what it is they need to do. I am looking forward to their presentation and I hope that all of you will enjoy watching what all of their efforts are going towards. We have done some class work as well in Phonics and math class and they are doing well amidst the preparations.

After next week we will start to get back on a regular routine and start to get back into all of the classes again. We will also be doing some more themed crafts that the students will enjoy and I'd like to take the class into New Year on that note. I hope all of the students can continue to put in such wonderful efforts until the break.

Individual Comments:

Hank: One of the best singers in the class and he is trying his best on all of the movements and actions in the show.

Patrick: Pretty good effort this week and I can see that he's trying to learn his part and do his best on it.

Ethan: I need for him to pay more attention and to give a little bit more of an effort with singing.

Marcus: Perfect participation during show practice and I can see that he really knows his stuff and enjoys his time.

Terry: I would like to see him have more confidence with singing and movements during the show. I can see he's trying his best though.

Rain: I am not pleased with Rain's performance lately in all areas of class time. He needs to start to learn appropriate behavior at appropriate times.

Adam: He needs to give more of an effort to show practice, he gets distracted easily and I have to remind him to focus and get back on track.

Paige: She's doing a great job with her singing and movements for the show. I can tell that she really is enjoying her time.

Emily: Good job with the show. She really knows her stuff and I think she is looking forward to presenting what she's prepared for.

Joyce: She's actually doing quite a good job on the show. She's singing and saying her lines very well. My only wish is for her to speak louder.

I look forward to next Friday for all of you to see and be entertained by your little actors. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll see all of you bright and early Monday morning.

Dear Parents,

Let's all give Rain's parents, Ethan's and Marcus's dad a thank you for coming in and talking with us this week. It's important for children to understand what it is that their parents do everyday and this was a perfect opportunity to share that with them. I also want to wish a warm happy birthday to Ethan... I'm not quite sure how old he is... I got two numbers so I guess he was born twice; but anyway happy birthday Ethan I hope you enjoyed your special day.

We have been working hard on the Christmas show lately and the students are really giving it their all and I am very proud with their progress so far... I look forward to presenting it to you all. We completed a snowflake craft this week as well and this one was definitely a winner! All of the student's designs were very well done. It looks like we have a bunch of artists in the class. Great job on this one guys! We covered a few pages out of the workbooks in all of the subjects as well. We are having a BBQ on Friday as well so stop on by and have a burger.

Individual Comments:

Hank: Perfect participation this week. I really enjoy watching him go during show practice!

Ethan: Much improved all around for Ethan. Happy B. Day little man!

Adam: He's practicing the show well but I would like to see him give 100% when it's singing time.

Marcus: He is one of the hardest workers during show practice so thank you for all of your efforts.

Terry: I would like to see him improve during singing practice and show practice so come on and focus a bit more.

Patrick: He's doing well in all areas and he is giving me a good participation level during practice.

Rain: I need for him to focus more during class time and practice time too. I think he could sing a bit louder.

Emily: It's like I said to you at Chinese school, so wonderful job recently and keep up the good work.

Paige: Thank you for trying so hard during show practice, your hard work will pay off!

Joyce: She actually is doing a wonderful job with show practice, she knows exactly what she need to say and sing every single time.

Thank you everyone for all of your hard work lately and I'll see all of you bright and early Monday morning.
